For the first part of the day the route continues over the rocky islands. The scenery is fantastic, but I still have to get used to the hills. The signs for the cycle route are often missing, or faded to a nearly complete white. In addition to keeping an eye open for the black Cyclespåret-signs I learn to also watch for completely white signs. In most cases one can just see where the arrow is pointing.
The islands are mostly connected by bridges, but I also have to use a few ferries. Around noon I arrive in Fiskebäckskil, a pretty town on the island Skaftölanded. From here I take a ferry to Lysekil, a bigger town on the other side of the bay. The ferry takes only passengers and bicycles.
From Lysekil on the route runs mostly along major highways for the rest of the day. It goes north to get clear of some fjords, then east towards the coast again. Near Bovallstrand I leave the route and turn south a few kilometers to reach the camping site at Hunnebostrand.
The camping site is a small one, and I seem to be the only foreigner here. I pitch my tent and ride down into town to find an ATM and do some shopping.
