Around the Pond: 5000 km on the North Sea Cycle Route

In the morning I wake up to a continuing rain. I had planned to make the final 50 or so kilometers to Grenaa today, and take a rest day there. But in light of this weather I decide to stay here today.

I make a few walks along the beach. The beach is like most baltic sea beaches in Denmark: coarse sand, lots of pebbles, and rotting sea weed.

I had hoped to find a recreation room, as on all danish camping sites I had stayed. I want to recharge the batteries of my equipment, and continue my travel blog. But I don't find one. Only as I return from the beach a last time, around 8 p.m. I notice a hidden door I hadn't seen before. There is the recreation room, even with an Internet hot-spot. I buy 4 hours of connection time, and update my blog.
